Sun Life unveils new Chief Distribution Officer for Asia

Patrick Wei will be in charge of Asia’s distribution strategy, collaborating with distribution leaders across the region.

Sun Life has appointed Patrick Wei as Chief Distribution Officer for Asia, effective today.

In this role, Wei will lead Sun Life Asia's distribution strategy, collaborating with distribution leaders across the region to enhance the distribution function through excellence, quality, and digital innovation.

Wei brings over 30 years of experience in insurance distribution in Asia, having held senior distribution roles at Aviva.

His expertise includes leading multi-channel distribution strategy and implementation, fostering growth in bancassurance partnerships, and co-developing digital business in Asia.

Additionally, Wei holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and Economics from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
