Tokio Marine sets up desk in New York

The desk is dedicated for investors and shareholders.

Tokio Marine Holdings announced last week the establishment of an Investor Relations and Shareholder Relations (IR/SR) desk in New York City to accommodate institutional investors, shareholders, and equity analysts in the United States, the Americas, and Europe. 

This initiative aims to enhance communication between Tokio Marine Group and the capital markets, with the desk set to commence operations on April 1st, 2024.

Leading the IR/SR desk is Taro Arakawa, who brings over seven years of investor relations experience to the role.

Arakawa, who joined Tokio Marine Group in 2002, has been responsible for investor and shareholder relations for Tokio Marine Holdings since 2017, effectively communicating the company's growth story and future strategy to the capital markets. 

Prior to his tenure in the IR/SR field, Arakawa held various positions in marketing, product development, and business process innovation within the Tokio Marine Group.

Joining Arakawa on the IR/SR desk is Simon Spitalny, who assumes the role of Value Enhancement Strategist. 

Spitalny boasts over 15 years of experience in global equity sales at investment banks and securities firms, bringing extensive knowledge of the capital markets and established industry relationships.
