Willis appoints Steve Hutchinson as P&C head for HK, Macau

He was previously Chief Broking Officer at Howden Insurance Brokers in Hong Kong.

Willis has appointed Steve Hutchinson as head of Property & Casualty (P&C) for Hong Kong and Macau, effective 2 May 2025. 

Hutchinson will report to Iris Chan, head of Corporate Risk & Broking for the region.

Bringing over 24 years of experience in the insurance and broking industry, Hutchinson has held leadership roles across the UK and Asia, with expertise in construction and P&C. 

He has advised large corporate clients across Hong Kong, Macau, and other markets in the region.

He joins Willis from his current position as Chief Broking Officer at Howden Insurance Brokers in Hong Kong. 

His career also includes leadership roles at international broking firms in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Hutchinson succeeds Phil Timms, who will transition to a newly created role as Managing Director overseeing WTW’s large account clients in Hong Kong.
