Zurich HK partners with Hutchison Telecommunications for travel insurance

The partnership aims to provide customers with a one-stop digital service experience.

Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) and Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) (HTHK) entered into a strategic collaboration to promote Zurich's insurance products through HTHK's new service brand, Domain5. 

In the initial phase, the collaboration will focus on promoting travel insurance, with customers of 3 Hong Kong, SUPREME, SoSIM, and MO+ able to complete online applications and enjoy exclusive discounts through a dedicated digital platform. 

The partnership aims to provide customers with a one-stop digital service experience, leveraging Zurich's diverse range of travel insurance products and HTHK's telecom expertise.

Zurich's Breezy Travel Insurance Plan is designed to provide comprehensive and customizable travel coverage for customers. Here are the key details of the promotions and the insurance plan:

  • Extra Travel Delay Allowance: Customers of 3 Hong Kong, SUPREME, SoSIM, and MO+ will receive an additional HK$200 travel delay allowance when they apply for Zurich's Breezy Travel single trip and annual travel plans.
  • Single Trip Travel Plan: A limited-time 20% discount available from now until 16 February.
  • Annual Travel Plan: A 20% discount on the first-year premium.
  • Social Media Mini Games: Zurich is hosting mini-games on Facebook and Instagram as part of the celebration, offering winners travel gift coupons worth HK$10,000 each (4 available). These games will conclude on February 16, 2024. Terms and conditions apply.

Breezy Travel Insurance Plan features include personal property protection, medical coverage up to HK$1.5m, and up to HK$50,000 trip cancellation or interruption limit.

Six optional benefits tailored to specific travel needs, include:

  • Road trips
  • Pre-wedding photo trips/overseas weddings
  • Attendance at overseas events (concerts, festivals, carnivals)
  • Participation in amateur sports (skiing, diving)
  • Cruise tours
  • Short-term overseas study exchange programs
