Elton Qiu
Elton Qiu is the Head of Product, Insurance for OneConnect Financial Technology. Co. Ltd. (NYSE: OCFT), a leading technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions, and an associate of Ping An Group which ranks 21 st on 2020 Fortune Global 500 and 7 th on Forbes 2020 Global 2000. Building upon Ping An’s extensive knowledge and expertise, OneConnect brings the best of China’s financial technologies to empower financial institutions and banks in Asia. Elton is responsible for driving growth in our insurance technology product strategy, roadmap and project delivery to ensure that OneConnect’s insurtech solutions remain innovative and effective.
With an actuarial background, Elton brings more than 15 years’ experience in the insurance and healthcare sectors. Most recently, he was at Salesforce as a Master Solution Engineer, leading insurance and healthcare industry solutions in Asia that provided best practices for customers using Software-as-a-Service. Prior to that, Elton held leadership positions at eBaoTech, an international insurance solutions vendor, where he led the product solution team and built the product market strategy for Asia. Elton holds a Master of Science, Actuarial Science and a Graduate Diploma, Actuarial Science from the University of Kent, and a Bachelor’s degree in Auditing from Nanjing Audit University.
