AXA launches hospital cash plan for simplified coverage
Customers can receive $130 (HK$1,000) per day as a hospital income benefit.
AXA Hong Kong and Macau launched its "CareForAll Hospital Cash Plan", which includes daily hospital cash benefits, to aid customers in their recovery journey.
The insurer said the plan features a relaxed underwriting process, requiring customers to answer just three health questions about their conditions over the past two years, with no medical examinations needed.
Customers will receive $130 (HK$1,000) per day as a hospital income benefit during their inpatient hospital stays, up to 120 days per policy year. This coverage includes confinement due to pre-existing conditions from the third policy year onwards. The plan guarantees annual renewal until the insured reaches age 100 and includes a complimentary medical check-up.
Additionally, customers can purchase the "CareForAll Hospital Cash Supplement" to enhance individual life or medical insurance plans. There is also an option to apply for the "CareForAll Hospital Cash – First Year $0.13 (HK$1) Supplement," offering the same coverage at just $0.13 (HK$1) for the first policy year with designated plans.
Key features include:
- Hospital Income Benefit: $130 (HK$1,000) per day during hospitalisation, up to 120 days per policy year. For overseas hospitalisation, the benefit is adjusted to $65 (HK$500) per day.
