bolttech Insurance, Trip.com tie up for travel insurance

Plans for home and pet insurance products are in the talks.

bolttech Insurance, the general insurance arm of international insurtech company bolttech based in Hong Kong, has formed a partnership with travel company Trip.com to integrate travel insurance into Trip.com's customer journey.

This collaboration allows Trip.com customers in Hong Kong to conveniently purchase bolttech Insurance travel policies directly within Trip.com's mobile app. 

The in-app feature streamlines the process and provides immediate access to policy documents.

The offered TravelCare insurance by bolttech Insurance includes options for single trips or annual coverage. It also covers various aspects such as leisure and amateur sports activities, mobile phone protection, trip delays, cancellations, and medical expenses related to COVID-19.

Currently, bolttech Insurance offers travel coverage through Trip.com's mobile app, with plans to introduce home and pet insurance products in the future, further expanding the range of insurance offerings for customers.
