Chubb names Jon Longmore as new Malaysia head

He is currently country president of PT Chubb General Insurance Indonesia.

Chubb has appointed Jon Longmore as the new country president of Malaysia, effective in early November, pending regulatory and other approvals.

Currently serving as the country president of PT Chubb General Insurance Indonesia, Longmore will succeed Stephen Crouch, who has been named head of Government Affairs for the Asia Pacific region.

In his new position, Longmore will oversee the overall performance of Chubb’s operations in Malaysia, and will be based in Kuala Lumpur, continuing to report to Marcos Gunn, Regional President of Asia Pacific.

Longmore has been with Chubb for 13 years, holding roles in underwriting, distribution, and partnerships in Australia. He also served as head of Digital for Asia Pacific in 2018 before assuming his role as Indonesia's country president in 2020.

Adrianto Gunawan, the CFO for Indonesia, will act as interim country president whilst the company searches for a permanent replacement.
