DUAL expands portfolio with W&I insurance offering

DUAL Australia unveiled its new specialty product, warranty & indemnity (W&I) insurance, targeting industries such as real estate, renewables, infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology.

The W&I insurance offering, which provides coverage for financial losses stemming from breaches of warranties or indemnities in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, will be led by Jordan Schwarz, head of M&A, based in Sydney.

This product is underwritten by DUAL’s newly formed Transaction Solutions team on behalf of Lloyd’s carriers.

The launch of this insurance product follows the April introduction of DUAL’s ANZ Title Insurance offering, led by Chris Hammond.
