Igloo launches digital tools to support insurers and partners
This is because APAC insurers spend under 3% of GWP on tech.
Igloo has launched Igloo Tech Solutions, a new business line offering modular digital tools aimed at helping insurers and brands modernise operations, integrate AI, and unlock new revenue streams.
The move comes as APAC insurers continue to lag in digital investment, allocating only 2% to 3% of Gross Written Premiums (GWP) to technology, according to Igloo.
Built on Igloo’s no-code core platform, Turbo, the suite includes Igloo Agent, Igloo Consumer, and Igloo Partner.
These offerings are designed to optimise agent networks, enhance customer interfaces, and streamline claims management, with each module tailored to specific business needs.
The AI Claims Agent enables users to file claims through a chat interface and receive instant claim decisions with explanations.
Meanwhile, Igloo’s AI Fraud Detection tool uses optical character recognition (OCR) and large language model (LLM) technology to flag inconsistencies and automatically notify claims and fraud teams.
Early adopters include MSIG Vietnam, which is using Igloo Agent to improve sales and operations, and Indonesia-based Kredivo, which has integrated Igloo Consumer to offer insurance products within its finance app.
In Cambodia, insurer BIMA is implementing Igloo Partner to embed insurance offerings in retail stores.
A Singapore insurer has also deployed Igloo Partner to streamline its claims processes.
