Manulife unveils plans with up to 400% critical illness payouts
One of its plans covers 126 critical illnesses and conditions.
Manulife Singapore has introduced two new insurance options to address concerns over serious illnesses.
The Manulife Early CompleteCare (MECC) plan provides coverage for 126 critical illness conditions across all stages, whilst the Manulife EarlyCancer Protect (MECP) plan offers affordable term coverage for all stages of cancer.
MECC offers a full payout of the sum insured upon diagnosis of any critical illness.
It also includes features such as a Continuous Cancer Income option, which provides monthly payouts of 4% of the sum insured for up to 60 months, potentially reaching 240% of the insured amount.
Additionally, its Cover Me Again benefit allows up to four extra critical illness claims, totalling 400% of the sum insured, whilst its Recurring Major Critical Illness benefit provides additional coverage for specific recurring conditions, up to 200% of the sum insured.
The plan also guarantees a death benefit of at least eight times the annual premium. It covers all stages of cancer and offers a 100% payout upon diagnosis or death.
