Surer partners for new agent indemnity insurance

The coverage protects agents from claims related to their services.

Singapore-based insurtech, Surer, announced a partnership with specialty insurer Fusion Specialty Asia (Singapore) and Aetna Insurance Brokers (Anapi) to release a professional indemnity insurance product in Singapore for general insurance agents.

“While general insurance agents provide advice on professional indemnity insurance for many other professions, there was never a product to protect them from the risks and liabilities they face themselves. I am proud that Surer’s tech capabilities have enabled the tie-up of Fusion’s underwriting expertise with the on-ground knowledge of the customer from Anapi, thus the successful creation of the AgentGuard Pro product,” said Derren Teo, Co-founder of Surer.
