Peak Re makes new appointments to board of directors

This includes changes to chairman and executive director roles.

Peak Reinsurance Company Limited has made several appointments to its board of directors including Li Tao who has been appointed as chairman of the board of directors; Chen Kaihong as executive director and Yuan Xi as non-executive director.

Li is the Vice President at Fosun International Limited and CEO of Fosun Insurance Group. On the other hand, Chen serves as CFO of Peak Re whilst Yuan serves as CFO of Fosun Insurance Group.

Guo Guangchang, chairman of Fosun International, resigned as non-executive director of Peak Re whilst Wang Qunbin also resigned as chairman of the board but remains as non-executive director and a board committee member.

The changes took effect on July 27.
