GX Bank, Zurich Malaysia ink 10-year bancassurance partnership

They will co-create micro digital insurance products for Malaysians.

GX Bank, Zurich General Insurance Malaysia, and Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia have announced a 10-year exclusive bancassurance tripartite partnership.

In a press release, the three firms said that they will work together to create micro protection products for Malaysians.

The first product is set to be introduced by Q3 2024, and aims to protect underserved individuals from unauthorised transactions resulting from cyber-crime, as well as transactions initiated by electronic scam messages.

GX Bank will leverage technology and data-driven insights to identify customer pain points, and work with Zurich Malaysia to co-create digital insurance products that are simple, user-friendly and affordable.
