Aon names new Indonesia CEO

He was previously the CEO of Pacific MMI Insurance.

Aon has announced Karl Hamann as the new CEO of Aon Indonesia.

Hamann will be based in Jakarta and report to Owen Belman, chief executive officer of Aon Asia.

Hamann is an experienced leader specialising in operational transformation, including establishing an offshore centre, offshoring functions, and digitalising internal processes and product fulfilment and claims.

Hamann joins Aon from Pacific MMI Insurance where he was chief executive officer, based in Papua New Guinea. In his more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has held various leadership roles including CEO of Philippines, Malaysia and South Asia at QBE and commissioner of PT QBE Indonesia.
