AIA Hong Kong rolls out remote insurance purchase feature

Clients will be able to purchase all but one of the policies via videoconference.

AIA Hong Kong has announced the launch of a new ‘remote insurance purchase’ feature on its digital communication platforms. Both new and existing clients can now communicate with AIA Hong Kong’s financial planners via video conferencing. They can also purchase insurance immediately through the tool.

With this new feature, clients can purchase all the insurance schemes like Savings, Medical, Critical Illness, Life Policies, and Personal Accident with just one exception – Investment-linked Assurance Schemes.

The service will launch in July, giving clients access to a selected group of financial planners. This will later be expanded to include all AIA planners.
