Etiqa has streamlined the approval process for motor claims up to $3,668 (S$5,000) from the usual one to two days to a mere 30 minutes thanks to its 22 quality authorised workshops. Vehicle owners can then get their cars on the road much sooner, minimising inconvenience.

"The motor insurance industry is a very competitive market, and we would like to offer our customers great value beyond a competitive price. By speeding up the approval process, we reduce stress and provide better peace of mind to motor vehicle owners," said Sue Chi Kong, CEO of Etiqa Insurance Singapore.

The move comes on the heels of the earlier launch of the automated Straight Through Processing (STP) of travel claims via PayNow.
