AIG promotes Matthew Pereira to head of commercial property HK, Macau and Taiwan

He has been with AIG for over 12 years.

AIG announced the promotion of Matthew Pereira to head of commercial property for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, in LinkedIn post.

Pereira transferred from Sweden to Hong Kong back in 2021 as a senior property underwriter.

He has been with AIG for over 12 years and held other positions such as property underwriter, assistant underwriting officer for EMEA, risk aggregation technician for NatCat, and Data Analyst.

“Matthew has quickly established himself in the local market and built a strong rapport with the team. His technical expertise and connections across the International Property network will serve him well in his new role, and I can’t wait to see what he achieves next.” Tomi Latva-Kiskola, AIG Insurance Hong Kong President and CEO, said in a LinkedIn post.
