Muang Thai Life and ZA Tech teams up to launch digital products

They aim to create a seamless and personalised experience for customers.

Life and health insurance company, Muang Thai Life (MTL), has partnered with insurtech firm, ZA Tech, to make insurance more accessible and flexible in Thailand.

According to Sara Lamsam, CEO of MTL, throughout the company’s 70 years journey, the company has strived to be at the forefront of product development and customer service.

“Combining MTL capabilities in product innovation and ZA Tech capabilities in insurance technology (insurtech), the partnership aims to create a seamless and personalized experience for customers and ecosystem partners alike. Both organizations see the importance of simplifying insurance, especially health coverage for the Thai people. Digital capabilities do not only mean digital direct channels but also enhancing capabilities and efficiencies in all channels. Technology can help enable human to human interactions to create a more seamless experience,” Lamsam said.

This is not MTL and ZA Tech’s first team-up. In the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, the two rolled out a vaccine insurance, designed for customers who want peace of mind when receiving the vaccine.

MTL is one of the largest life and health insurance companies in Thailand with a key focus on innovation and digital enhancement to better deliver products and services to its customers. Through the technology powered by ZA Tech, coupled with well thought through products by MTL, thousands of customers have been able to receive their vaccinations with more confidence.
